Our officers and dispatchers are trained on how to recognize individuals who may be experiencing a sensory issue so they can assist them in the best way possible.

Each Pelham Police vehicle is equipped with sensory bags. These bags are designed to help with sensory needs in both adults and children. Filled with items that can help lessen sensory overload and also engage, the bag items are also easily cleaned and sterilized for multiple uses.
